This program serves indigent adults who have been determined by the courts to be in need
of guardianship and conservatorship when there is no one else appropriate or available to serve. Health care decisions, financial decisions, and decisions concerning where a
person lives are made based on the individual’s wishes and values. The ultimate goal is to maintain the person safely in the most comfortable and least restrictive environment available. Adults residing in Wise and Scott
Counties and The City of Norton are eligible.
Fees: No charge.
Eligibility: Indigent adults.
Intake Procedure: Walk-ins and telephone referrals accepted.
Service Area: Scott and Wise Counties, and The City of Norton.
