A community-based advocacy coalition for persons concerned with cancer.  Provides CancerHelp, a computer cancer information system, which contains up-to-date information on all types of cancer, treatments, clinical trials, medications, and local and national support organizations.  Includes a local story-gathering.  Provides access to support and information for those touched by cancer through performance of  “Life’s Circle”, a moving and powerful dramatization of personal cancer experiences.  

 

A major project is to develop the Mountain Laurel Cancer Resource and Support Center.  The vision statement for the Mountain Laurel Center is:

"Personalized cancer information and support in a community-based, welcoming and private environment, offering holistic help."
