The site provides customized comparative information about Medicare+Choice
plans, nursing homes, supplemental insurance policies for people with Medicare,
local events where Medicare is the topic, and resources for additional
information.

Official U.S. Government Site for Medicare Information -
Medicare.gov is the official U.S. Government Internet site for Medicare consumer
information. It is designed with the beneficiary in mind to provide people with
Medicare with up-to-date health and insurance information. The Health Care
Financing Administration, the agency that administers Medicare, created
Medicare.gov in the spring of 1998.

National Resource Center on Aging and Injury - The mission of
The National Resource Center on Aging and Injury is to apply state-of-the-art
technology to increase awareness, and to collect, organize, and evaluate
information about preventing unintentional injuries among older Americans. The
information is provided to older adults, caregivers, health care practitioners,
policy makers, and other people concerned about reducing injuries among older
Americans.
