Nutrition and Wellness Services

SCSEP offers a 20 hour per week subsidized training or work experience placement with the goal of locating unsubsidized employment for the older worker.  Offers specialized training and classes to upgrade or learn new job skills.  Offers counseling and instruction on job search skills, public benefits, etc.  Provides assistance with the purchase of items needed to prepare the individual for gainful employment.

Fees: No charge.

Eligibility:  Persons aged 55+.  Must meet income and other guidelines.

Intake Procedure:  Walk-ins and telephone referrals accepted.

Service Area:  Lee, Scott and Wise Counties, and The City of Norton.
