PACE provides every service covered by Medicare and Medicaid.  However, PACE is not limited to providing only those services.  If the Interdisciplinary Team decides that a participant needs something not covered by Medicare or Medicaid, it can approve payment through PACE.  For example, PACE may purchase over the counter drugs not covered by Medicare or install grab bars and do minor home repairs so a participant can live safely in the community.  The deciding factor will be whether the Interdisciplinary Team approves a desired service.
